Keep the drone within visual line of sight so you can always fly it home by eye. Know how your model behaves when GPS drops — many switch from position hold to attitude mode, which drifts with the wind. Check your failsafe settings before you fly: a return-to-home triggered inside a jammed area can send the aircraft the wrong way. In severe jamming, the safest choice is not to fly.
